PYP Principal
Rola El Hallak is an accomplished international educator and school leader with extensive experience in primary education, curriculum design, and whole-school improvement across diverse learning communities. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Management from the Lebanese American University.
At Qatar Academy Sidra, Rola plays a pivotal role in leading the implementation of high-quality, student-centered learning aligned with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP). She is deeply committed to fostering inclusive, inquiry-driven environments that promote student agency, collaboration, and meaningful engagement.
Rola’s leadership is grounded in a strong belief that sustainable school improvement is achieved through empowered educators, coherent systems, and a shared vision for learning. She works closely with teachers and leadership teams to strengthen instructional practices, enhance curriculum alignment, and cultivate a culture of reflection, innovation, and continuous growth.
As a leader, Rola is dedicated to cultivating a school environment where every learner feels a strong sense of belonging and is supported to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. She believes that education is a transformative journey—one that equips students not only with knowledge and skills, but with the values and mindset needed to contribute positively to their communities and the wider world.
Head of Early Years
Al Anoud Al Marri is an educator with extensive experience in education since 2014. She has worked across different stages of primary education and early childhood, where she discovered her true passion for Early Years education, believing strongly in the importance of this foundational stage in shaping children’s learning and overall development.
Al Anoud joined Qatar Academy Sidra in 2016, making her a true “daughter of the school,” as she has been an integral part of its community and growth over the years. Throughout her journey, she served as part of the Primary Leadership Team for four years, where she held responsibility for students and parent relations. In this role, she focused on strengthening communication and building positive partnerships between home and school to support student learning and wellbeing.
Al Anoud will continue her professional journey at Qatar Academy Sidra as the Head of Early Years, where she will lead the Early Years stage with a child-centered vision that emphasizes learning through play, inquiry, and strong relationships. She is committed to empowering educators, developing high-quality teaching practices, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that meets the needs of all children.
She believes in the right of every child to learn and grow in a supportive and stimulating environment, and she is dedicated to promoting inclusive practices that ensure equity for all learners, helping nurture a generation of confident, curious, lifelong learners.
PYP Assistant Principal
Marissa Archie
Marissa Archie is a passionate educator and school leader from Las Vegas, Nevada, with extensive experience in international education and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education, a Master’s degree focused on restorative practices in education, and an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Curriculum and Instructional Leadership.
Throughout her career, Ms. Archie has served in teaching and leadership roles across Mexico, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia, where she most recently held the position of Elementary Assistant Principal. She is committed to fostering high-quality teaching and learning through collaborative leadership, inclusive practices, and student-centered education.
Ms. Archie joined Qatar Academy Sidra as Assistant Principal (PYP) for the 2026–2027 academic year and is dedicated to supporting a thriving learning community where every student can grow and succeed.
Ryan Bishal
Ryan is an accomplished international educator and school leader who joined Qatar Academy Sidra in Fall 2026. He brings a wealth of experience in teaching and learning, with a strong commitment to fostering high-quality, student-centered education within diverse and dynamic learning communities.
Ryan holds a solid academic background in education and has worked across international contexts, contributing to curriculum development, instructional improvement, and the cultivation of collaborative professional cultures. His practice is grounded in a belief that strong relationships, clarity of purpose, and consistency in practice are key drivers of sustainable school improvement.
At Qatar Academy Sidra, Ryan plays an integral role in supporting the implementation of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), working closely with teachers to enhance inquiry-based learning, strengthen student agency, and ensure that learning experiences are meaningful and engaging.
Ryan is passionate about empowering both students and educators. He is dedicated to building inclusive environments where all learners feel a sense of belonging and are supported to achieve their full potential.
PYP Coordinator
Nadine Dayya
Nadine Daya is an experienced educator and Primary Years Programme (PYP) Coordinator at Qatar Academy Sidra, with 15 years of experience in education. She holds a Master of Education in Advanced Teaching and is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that support student growth, achievement, and well-being.
Throughout her career, Nadine has developed strong expertise in curriculum development, assessment, and professional learning. She is committed to inquiry-based teaching and works closely with teachers to align learning outcomes, support effective planning, and promote engaging classroom practices that foster student agency and success.
Nadine is dedicated to building positive learning communities where both students and educators can thrive. She values collaboration, reflection, and continuous improvement, and believes in nurturing curious, confident, and lifelong learners through purposeful and inclusive educational practice.
SANAD Coordinator
Nadia Alobaid
Nadia Alobaid serves as the Sanad Coordinator at Qatar Academy Sidra, where she leads inclusive education initiatives and supports the development of systems that promote student success across academic, behavioral, and social-emotional domains. Since beginning her career in special education in 2010, Nadia has built extensive experience across educational and clinical settings in the United States, the Middle East, and Asia, with a strong focus on inclusion, student support, and collaborative practice.
Over the course of her career, Nadia has progressed from clinical and direct support roles into educational leadership positions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, educators, students, and families to strengthen inclusive practices and improve student outcomes. Her experience includes speech-language pathology, literacy support and intervention, implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI), and the development of schoolwide structures that support diverse learners academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally within inclusive environments.
Nadia holds a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Howard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Portland State University. She is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist and maintains the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
